CH36 以設計簡單且椅背支撐力強而著名，雖然外表似乎沒什麼特色，但仍可從一個小地方注意到 Wegner 的設計手筆：它的椅腿由上到下逐漸變細。

這使椅子看更輕巧優雅。雖然外表纖細，它可是毫無疑問的通過了丹麥科技協會的搖擺測試。

測試的過程中，工作人員去渡假前忘了把測試機關掉，隔週一早上，他們發現測試機已經壞了，而椅子卻仍維持完整。

CH36 通常用做餐椅，同時也用在教堂，如德國布萊梅大教堂的結婚廳。也許這就是為何它會被推薦用在Chleswig-Holsteins建築中，值得保存。
