OW149於1949年設計，名為Colonial Chair 殖民椅，為Ole Wanscher最具代表性的劃時代作品。

OW149這件極致之作，受到多元異國文化的影響。從椅背的階梯狀配置，散發出十八世紀中葉英國家具的韻味。重心較低的略寬骨架樣式、鵝脖造型向下連接的橫棖設計、扶手借用傳統中式套榫皂法，反映出Wanscher對東方中國明式家具愛。手工藤編的椅座細節，及皮革或羊毛布製的羽毛椅墊，充分表現出Wanscher優雅舒適的異國品味。
