Marset原先於二戰期間，以鍛造、處理金屬加工鑄造廠，戰後對於設計擁有高度興趣的第二代，將對金屬處理的專業，領軍走像燈具設計的品牌。
累積二十多年塑造、扳彎的經驗，巧妙運用到為燈具造型的工藝上。
經過數十載的歷練，邀請同為巴塞隆那背景的 Joan Gasper 擔任創意總監，調整產品路線，嘗試新材料、設計，打開Marset市場能見度，產品既能兼顧現代、大器，選擇多，不論用在住宅、商空都非常適合。

Nº 8的木質燈頭以人工雕塑的型式成型，表面流暢的紋路能夠感受到質地，也讓每一盞燈擁有自己的獨一無二。中間蛇管上的編織布料，是達到多功能的同時不犧牲外型的主要元素。Nº 8是專門針對臥室床頭所開發的一款壁燈，除了增加眼睛的舒適度外，設計師有趣的說道:「一本好的書總是比幫助睡眠的藥丸要來的健康呢!」
